How To Enable Named Pipes and TCP/IP for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SQLExpress
During a recent installation of HP Insight Manager 7.1 on Windows 2008 R2 server the prerequisites failed complaining about you must enable named pipes and TCP/IP for the existing database service Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
