Recently upgraded my NAS and had an issue where I could mount the device on Fedora but would only in Read Only mode.  For my purpose I was mounting with a script to my home directory but wanted to add it to a directory called share on my root in read / write mode by adding it to /etc/fstab after figuring out why I could not write to the directory. Virtual Disk Servce Crash on Windows 2003 Issue

Recently been seeing popup errors on Windows 2003 R2 servers running Microsoft SQL 2005 running giving Virtual Disk Service errors. When looking at the event log there are Application errors showing event id 1000. In doing some research found KB949001which a hotfix for the very error. Exciting today for Alfresco Users. On 9/30/11 Alfresco 4.0a Community Edition was released. Alfresco is the OpenSource answer to Microsoft’s SharePoint.
